COMMUNITY EVENTS

Park West is well-known for fun and interesting community activities and special events. Our residents participate in regularly scheduled weekly activities that range from walking clubs to card games, from exercise classes to weekly coffee klatches. We really don’t need an excuse to enjoy the natural setting of the community or get together.
In addition to clubs and activities organized by our residents, community management sponsors special events for residents such as Christmas dinner and holiday parties.
Residents sponsor the annual Park West Fiesta, Oktoberfest, Halloween costume party, and New Year ’s Eve Dance, Thanksgiving Dinner plus monthly potlucks, outdoor concerts and barbecues on the Ramada and much more!

ABOUT US

Our residents and guests enjoy a resort style setting with facilities that provide an inviting and comfortable environment for an active lifestyle. The community center offers a large meeting room with an entry veranda that overlooks the valley. The center provides a coffee service counter for morning gatherings and large commercial kitchen for community events. The centerpiece of our community was designed and built by an award-winning team of builders that provides panoramic mountain views and patio seating to enjoy evening sunsets.
The community center offers a fitness room, complete with weights, weight station apparatus, cardio equipment, and television. A computer room, with high-speed internet access also serves as a multi-purpose room for card/game activities and includes a resident exchange library. WIFI is available to the outdoor patios and pool area to allow you to stay connected during your morning coffee.

THE POOL

The pool area has been designed to provide an elevated view of the valley with outdoor furnishings that make your pool experience more comfortable and enjoyable whenever you visit. Whether you visit for a swim, exercise of just relax, the pool provides a large deck area offering adequate seating to lounge or enjoy a small gathering of family or friends. The pool and spa have been retrofitted with chair lifts if assistance is needed.

THE RAMADA

A large outdoor Ramada was designed to provide an outdoor space for community events. It is located adjacent to the pool and community center and provides a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine or the views of the city lights after sundown. The covered Ramada offers seating for large group events, an outdoor serving kitchen and covered fireplace with lounge seating. It is a great place to enjoy any time of day. Come join friends, plan a barbecue or sit and relax by the tranquil sounds of the nearby fountain and seating area next to the bocce ball court. You will enjoy the privacy and setting!

PET FRIENDLY

We understand pets are an important part of our family. Studies indicate there are significant benefits to be gained from the bond with pets, and we agree. To accommodate your furry and feathery friends, we allow residents up to two pets per household. A pet friendly public trail is available on the perimeter of the community for dog walkers. For those who prefer their animals to have a wild side, the desert delights with visiting birds, bobcats, javelinas, and other desert creatures. We have a great place for bird watching too!

WHY CHOOSE PARK WEST?

We love living where residents can get together in the clubhouse to cook and share meals, watch movies and sports events on a big screen TV, play cards and other games, exercise in the exercise room, read a book and/or go “online” on the computers in the library. A beautiful Ramada is available for outdoor events and cook-outs, along with a heated salt water swimming pool, hot tub and a Petanque court. Park West is a wonderful place to live!

We toured five different mobile home parks in the Tucson area. We fell in love with Park West. I’m certain a poll of our residents would reveal how this community affects the aging process as we have a remarkably young-at-heart older set here. So, though the physical structures are nice and provide the base of operations for all that goes on in Park West, it really is all the wonderful people from all over the U.S. that make Park West what it is. It is a wonderful place to live!

Our Residents' Association provides many social events and activities each month, from parties and potlucks to daily card games. You can be as involved or uninvolved as you like. There is no pressure to participate but most folks are drawn into the togetherness on some scale. A good portion of the permanent residents can certainly afford much more upscale housing than a manufactured home community, but choose Park West because of the relationships.

Park West is a great place to reside but an even better place to live. We chose Park West because of the location and views; great amenities with the clubhouse and Ramada, pool and hot tub. But it doesn't take long to realize it is much more than that. Because of the amenities and small size of the park (150 or so spaces w/ 200+ residents), it really allows for people to make a lot of connections with others.

We are situated on the eastern side of the Tucson mountains and enjoy the entire skyline of Tucson from our clubhouse veranda. It has been said that we are Tucson’s Best Kept Secret!! We are blessed to call Park West home!

WHAT IS THE COST TO RENT A LOT AT PARK WEST?

Lot rent is $455 per month.

IS THERE AN APPLICATION PROCESS?

Application fee is $25. (per person) We check credit and criminal background history. We also check debt to income ratio.

DO YOU RENT MOBILE HOMES?

Rentals are not allowed at Park West.

DO YOU HAVE A POOL?
Yes, Park West has a beautiful salt water pool and spa with chair lifts for the handicapped. The pool and spa are heated year around.
WHAT ARE THE OFFICE HOURS?
Office hours are 9:00 AM -12:00 noon and 1:00 PM – 5:00 pm. Except for May through August we close at 2:00 pm..
ARE PETS ALLOWED AT PARK WEST?
Yes, 2 indoor pets are allowed. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended outside – loose or tied up.
IS PARK WEST A SENIOR PARK.
Yes, Park West is a 55 senior living community.
WHAT UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE LOT RENT?.
No utilities are included in the lot rent. Resident must pay all utilities monthly, which include water, sewer, electricity, gas and trash.
